The location of the hotel is a bit secluded, outside of the main village, allowing for a quiet and tranquil retreat. the rooms are spacious and well-designed with high-quality fixtures and furnishings. the breakfast served is excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and local products. the staff and owners are friendly and welcoming.
It would be more convenient if there were tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge in the rooms, without having to rely on the owner's kitchen.

The studios at Casa Alva are cozy and functional, perfect for a comfortable stay. I absolutely loved the living room with its stylish furniture, where I could relax, have a meal, or even work if needed. The kitchenettes were a great addition, allowing me to prepare simple meals and snacks. The terrace linking the studios to the main house provided a lovely outdoor space to enjoy the fresh air.
Personally, I found the bathroom in the studios a bit small. However, this is just my opinion and others may still find it perfectly adequate.

The host was amazing, super kind and caring. She made sure we had a perfect stay and provided us with lots of local knowledge and information. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The location was also great, surrounded by beautiful green hills and close to a peaceful river. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the tranquility of nature.
There really wasn't much to dislike about our stay. The only minor inconvenience was the access road, which could be a bit challenging for some vehicles.

The studios at Casa Alva are cozy and comfortable, providing the perfect space to relax or get work done. The furniture in the living room is great for enjoying meals or finishing up some tasks. The kitchenettes are a nice bonus, allowing me to prepare simple meals. Each suite can accommodate two guests, making it ideal for a couples' getaway or a solo traveler looking for some extra space.
Personally, I found the bathtub in the complete bathroom to be a bit small. But hey, that's just my preference, and I'm sure others would still find it perfectly enjoyable.

Pro: I had an incredible stay at a lovely guesthouse in a peaceful setting. the hosts were very welcoming and the house itself was beautifully furnished with all the necessary amenities. I especially loved the window above the bed that allowed me to stargaze at night. the breakfast was truly unbelievable, with a wide variety of local cheeses, breads, sweets, and freshly squeezed orange juice. The studios at Casa Alva were absolutely perfect for our family! The living room was cozy and had all the furniture we needed for dining and working. The kitchenettes were a great convenience, and the complete bathrooms had both showers and tubs. We felt right at home!
Personally, we found the link to the main house a bit inconvenient. Others might still enjoy the connection, though.

The breakfast at the hotel was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of local specialties and freshly squeezed orange juice. The room was spacious and comfortable, with large beds and a private terrace overlooking the beautiful hills. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect for those seeking a quiet and secluded atmosphere.
The need for a car to reach the hotel, as it is located outside of town and down a dirt road. However, this did contribute to the peaceful and secluded atmosphere, so it's a trade-off.
